Thompson Square headlined this inaugural Menifee Music and Arts Festival event. This was a free day of music and art entertainment. Linda Denver organized the ACM artist booths and Kathleen Crain provided a blank canvas for guests to let loose and paint their creativity on it throughout the event. A fun time was had by all and we are looking forward to many more.
Joshua Brady from Santa Rosa Academy organized a talent show to promote the amazing talent we have in Menifee and to raise money for the Arts Council Menifee. Performers included Corban Ackerman, Josh Brady, Holly Jackson, Angelisa Jimenez, Anahi Rodriguez, Hunter Ryan, Aiden Taylor and Gabby Warren.
If anyone has pictures to share, send them to and will will post them in "View More"
Arts Council Menifee sponsored a car in this year's race. We won two races skillfully driven by Joaquin Pardo, Debbi Manion's grandson. Kathleen Crain was responsible for the great paint job. If you haven't been to one, don't miss the next one. Always a fun time!
Each year on the Saturday before July 4th, during the Menifee Independence Day celebration, Colleen Ackerman and the Arts Council Menifee set up a Crazy Hat booth. All supplies are provided and it's free to anyone who wants to create a crazy hat with a paper grocery bag.
"View More" has pictures of our booth from past years.
