MENIFEE'S GOT TALENT 2021 Online Edition
This is an annual Arts Council Menifee event normally taking place every Spring.
As you all know, life has not been normal for awhile and we did not have a 2020 talent show.
THANK YOU PERRIS UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT
This year our show was only possible with the generous help and support from the Perris Union High School District for providing the venue and the expertise of the staff, employees and students of the district, along with our ACM volunteers and, of course, our very talented performers.

At 33:42 in the show, John Anderson plays Six Wives of Henry VIII, by Rick Wakeman. I'm 58 years old and have been playing the piano since I was 16. There were many years of struggling with addition and homelessness. I have been clean for 12 years and now live in Sun City with my wife. I love to play the piano.
At 22:45 in the show, the Ballet Folklorico of Menifee, directed by Lorena Hancock, dance traditional and cultural folk dance of Mexico. This group of 12-16 year old performers have been seen throughout the Inland Empire, including many local Menifee events. Tonight's performers include: Sofia: 16 Jose: 14 Alicia: 13 Claudia: 13 Emanuel: 12 Esteban: 12
At 14:00 in the show, Camden Brown performs Alexander Hamilton. I'm 9 years old and in 4th grade. I love to sing, act, play piano and guitar and make beats on Garage Band. I was one of the winners of the Boys and Girls Club "The One" competition in 2018 and have performed at various local community venues.
At 50:20 in the show, Gavin Carney plays his original composition, Innate Idiosyncrasy. I'm a 26 year old bassist and composer, performing solo works on bass guitar. I also am the bassist for pop band Billy and the Rebels and the progressive rock band Macro.
At 57:15 in the show, Megan Cortes sings Never Enough, from the musical Greatest Showman. I'm a mom of two amazing sons. Now that my boys are a little older, I'm trying to carve out some much needed me time to focus on my passion for singing and music.
At 00:17 in the show, our first performer, Saqueen Ghimire, sings My Heart Will Go On, from the movie Titantic. I am a 10 year old girl from Menifee extremely interested in singing. I sing cover songs and recorded my own original song in Nepali language.
At 43:36 in the show, Cheri Gilbert sings, New York State of Mind by Billy Joel. I moved to Menifee three and a half years ago and enjoy the karaoke scene. I won 2nd place in a Karaoke contest in the women's division for California which sent me to Las Vegas for Nationals.
A pillar in our city, Jonathan Greenberg again is our Master of Ceremonies as he introduces each of our performers. Retired from the Perris Unified School District I continue to promote, educate and get involved in events like this in and around Menifee.
At 01:07.04 in the show, James Allen Ivey sings a Frank Sinatra favorite, Nice and Easy. I'm 69 years old and a college professor at San Jacinto that sings classics as a hobby.
