Bringing the Arts to Menifee and Local Artists to the Public
proud member of
2025
It’s been a little while since our last update, and we’re excited to share what Arts Council Menifee (ACM) has been up to. Our mission to bring art, music, theater, and culture to the Menifee Valley continues to grow thanks to your support. Here’s a look at some of the ways we’ve been celebrating and supporting the arts in our community:
🎨 Celebrating Young Talent
This year, ACM artists had the honor of judging the Art-a-Faire Student Art Competition, sponsored by the City of Menifee. Local high school students showcased their creativity across many mediums—short films, sculptures, paintings, drawings, digital art, and photography. The level of talent was incredible, and we’re proud to encourage these young artists as they explore their passions.
🌿 Beautifying Our Community
During Menifee Better Together Day, ACM members worked on the Memorial Rock Garden in Central Park, giving it a fresh new look. We’ve now committed to maintaining the garden regularly so it remains a beautiful, peaceful space for the community to enjoy.
🎭 Supporting Local Theater
We’re proud to be a sponsor of the Vagabond Theatre Group of Menifee. Recently, ACM helped fund props, costumes, and other production expenses for their successful staging of The Foreigner. Supporting live theater is one way we help keep performing arts thriving in Menifee.
🎤 Showcasing Creativity
-
Menifee Spring Showcase – Our sidewalks came alive with dozens of visual artists and performers, stretching from Bushfire to Chipotle. It was an inspiring day filled with music, color, and community spirit.
-
Menifee’s Got Talent – Hosted at Liberty High School, this year’s production was the biggest yet! With nearly 25 incredible acts from Menifee and surrounding cities, the talent and energy on stage was unforgettable.
🌙 Reaching the Community
ACM has been out and about, engaging with the community at events including:
-
Moonlight Markets
-
Menifee Multi-Cultural Festival
-
Independence Day Celebration (Crazy Hat Booth!)
-
Shakespeare in Sun City
Each booth featured artwork by our members and gave us the opportunity to share our mission with new audiences.
🎓 Investing in the Future of the Arts
This year, ACM launched a scholarship fund to support young artists and musicians in need. The fund helps provide instruments, art supplies, lessons, and other resources so that every child has a chance to grow in their creative journey.
🎶 Supporting Music Education
ACM proudly partnered with the Boys & Girls Club at their fundraiser held at Lady R Bistro. The goal: to provide free music lessons for club members. We’re thrilled to help make music education accessible to more children in Menifee.
💫 Thank You for Supporting the Arts
Everything we do is made possible because of the generosity of our members, artists, and community partners. Together, we are building a stronger, more vibrant arts community here in Menifee Valley.
Stay tuned for more updates, events, and opportunities to get involved!
Warmly,
Arts Council Menifee
