Linda Morrison, a nine-year resident of Menifee and a local artist whose works have attracted wide attention, has been honored by Arts Council Menifee as its Artist of the Month.

After serving as a CFO for various companies in the business world, Morrison turned her focus to the art scene. She began painting seriously in 2008. Her artwork has been displayed around the community, including Mt. San Jacinto College's 50th anniversary event and last year's Taste of Menifee.
